I am a 2015 M.Div graduate of Eden Theological Seminary and currently on track for ordination in the United Church of Christ.  I am new to the blogging world and have been looking for a way to share theological musings since leaving school.  Please be patient with me as I figure things out.

My husband and I are currently going through a rough patch financially and experiencing true poverty for the first times in our lives.  If it was not for the grace of family we would be homeless.  Last year I was taking a pastoral care class on Homelessness and Poverty.  This year I am experiencing it first hand.

My goal for this is to create conversation and not just be a venting place.  I hope to grow theologically both by through processing my experiences through writing and by interacting with readers.

Side note: While my husband and I are both experiencing the same general circumstances all insights, interpretations, and beliefs mentioned are my own.
